Is okay

The hotel is located near the lake where there is a place to rest and a nature reserve of wild birds. The lake is divided in half, one half is used by sunbathers and the other by birds. Interesting solution. I recommend.

Yesterday we were invited to a dream wedding in the Seegasthof. Everything was perfect! A really great service immediately fulfilled every wish for us guests. The food was delicious and for so many people. The beautifully arranged terrace with a view of the lake was an invitation to long celebrations. Many thanks to the incredibly friendly team at the Seegasthof! You are great, we felt incredibly comfortable. We'll be back soon!

Simply the best

I always think it's great as some write their reviews, I ate well, it was great service and the room was absolutely great. I am absolutely surprised, in contrast to what a few exceptions write here, how great, hospitable and clean it is here, the owners go out of their way to meet all of your guests' needs. I always come back to you

If you like cold showers, this is the place for you. Food in the restaurant was very moderate and fat.

I was in the hotel for 5 nights. There was no room service during this time. The room and the bathroom were never cleaned. The bed was not made and the towels were not changed. With this room price (double room Euro 83.00 per night) absolutely unreasonable. The breakfast staff spoke only very limited German. At the New Year's Eve party, the house was overcrowded and too tight, so that 5 - 6 people had to get up whenever you wanted to go to the buffet.

Great for vacation with a dog. Will definitely come back !!

I find it very nice to eat here is great, the rooms are clean and tidy. Am always happy to be here. Unfortunately, it is often happened to me that the hotel is fully booked.

Size of the room: huge View: great Breakfast: good with fish But unfortunately the hotel is run down. The Röhrenfernseher a loan from the museum. Remote control defective. Hairdryer defective. WLAN does not work. The room has a massage table. In the breakfast room is under a chest of drawers, a step ladder etc etc But since there are hardly any hotels in the area, it will probably continue ...

Very quiet location, beautiful view of the lake and large balconies. Refrigerator in the rooms, so everything was good. Only the used towels in the bathroom were a bit irritating, but at least they also put me fresh, so half as wild. 😉

Okay ish. Not really new or modern, but clean and traditional somehow. Food was ok, too.

Clean and confortable

Nice atmosphere. Football Bundesliga was broadcast on a big screen! (Very good) The food was tasty and the portion neatly large. The prices are 100% justified for this quality. I can not rate the hotel rooms. Gladly again.

Great location and fantastic food.

Super great food, tastes really, really good. The chef responds individually to the wishes of the guest and conjures up ingenious variations. Very varied menu with various local dishes as well as very well-made homemade dishes. The food is an absolute culinary delight! The rooms are very charming and lovingly furnished. Cleanliness is very important here: daily cleaning is a matter of course for the staff. The breakfast buffet is rich, fresh and attractive, so that you can start the day well. You are greeted in a friendly manner and you feel at home. The host knows how to deal with guests and is friendly and courteous. The directly adjacent reservoir Ehmetsklinge is great for swimming and for walks around the lake. The location is amazing, the food is brilliant and the house is very beautiful. The room with a lake view is worth every penny! Always my pleasure!

The hotel is surprisingly big and situated in a nice landscape overlooking a small valley. There's also a small supermarket close by, which helps because there are not a lot of other shops in the vicinity. The building is not very beautiful but adequate. The rooms are big and clean the furniture looks quite new and unused. Still, the rooms are lacking atmosphere. Parking is free in front of the hotel and so is the offered Wi-Fi. There's a restaurant here that is closed on Sundays. Be aware of the fact if arriving on a Sunday there's also not a lot of other restaurants open in the vicinity. The food in the restaurant is average priced and proofed to be very tasty and good. All together it's a good hotel for a work stay. For having a romantic getaway weekend it might lack too much in the romantic part.

Located at the sea Emmetsklinge, rooms were tidy and clean but some things were old or nearly broken e.g. the coffe table. The service was always nice and polite.

Lovely and romantic place.

Here are my impressions of this accommodation: positive: the location is gigantic, right on the reservoir, great landscape, very quiet, nice (beer) garden. The food was also delicious (greetings from the kitchen unfortunately three times the same), breakfast buffet was also good. And I would also like to praise the waitress. That was it already. Negative: see pictures - damaged furniture wherever I looked (my colleague from the next room had the same experience), burn marks on the sofa, wood on the bed damaged, suspension for shower head was missing. The hair dryer was torn from its anchorage and hung next to a filthy radiator. Furthermore, dirty towels, or an almost worn one. At least the bathroom was reasonably clean. Then, as already mentioned, an unfriendly reception from the boss (we arrived on Monday, apparently rest day and only emergency operation) which was also not particularly sociable when asked whether we could write our food on the room bill. (But what he did then) In general, this man seems to have a problem with endless kettcars, a trampoline, but no child far and wide. When we caught him looking for a pavilion on eBay, we noticed the many already existing ones in the garden. At the same time, we suspected that the entire facility was bought together on eBay (which would explain the damaged interior and the different chairs. Basically, you get a program of changing feelings between bah and boah, that's nice here (see pictures). Personally, I don't want to stay here again, for eating and drinking I would almost recommend the beer garden, even if the spaetzle are not homemade as advertised on the menu (was still delicious). Only the fact that I had a chilli pepper on my plate today that was missing a tip gives me a queasy feeling. It looked suspiciously like the one I touched on 2 days ago to try another dish - but that's just speculation based on my impressions.

Quaint, large restaurant with a beautiful beer garden invites you to linger in the warm time. The menu offers Swabian specialties, but also seasonal dishes such as an asparagus menu is offered. The restaurant is also a wonderful stopover on a hike around the Emetsklinge reservoir.

nice small hotel and restaurant with great meals and very nice staff

I was at the Seegasthof Zaberfeld for 3 days and would like to thank you for the very nice stay. The rooms are a good size, the decor is modern and very well-kept, it is nice and quiet (no through traffic). The food is absolutely amazing, you can taste that they still cook with love. The dish I ordered triggered a veritable explosion of flavors. Easy. Hot. So if you want a bathtub full of chocolate mousse and a bucket full of delicious cakes - then let's go to Zaberfeld :) - Prices are great! - The food is delicious, ... and the dessert is heavenly - Very good WiFi reception and speed - Directions, parking spaces tip top - Room very good, cleaned every day - beds very comfortable - Bathrooms were well heated ;-) and very well equipped - Breakfast large selection, fresh baked goods and nice and hearty, even the fruit salad was homemade and didn't come out of the can ... and the best - fresh scrambled eggs with tasty bacon .. Delicious! Thank you again for this wonderful time and I am already looking forward to stopping by at the Seegasthof Zaberfeld on my next tour. Best regards to the best host below the main line :-)
